Aims of the MIIPC

 

                    

       The Aims and Objectives of the MIIPC       

  • To promote good clinical practice in the area of integrative psychotherapy and counselling

  • To expand the body of knowledge within the sphere of psychotherapy by encouraging research.

  • To keep a list of members and their status within the Institute as agreed by the appropriate sub-committee.

  • Acknowledge the contribution made by member of the Institute to the field of integrative psychotherapy as decided by the appropriate committees and sub-committees.

  • The MIIPC may seek to promote training in the field of Integrative Psychotherapy and provide training, which will be validated by Bodies of Higher Education.

  • To arrange educational meetings, exhibitions, and conferences with the aim of disseminating and promoting integrative models of psychotherapy

  • To publish and distribute papers to members and inform practitioners in the area of psychotherapy of developments within the area of integrative psychotherapy.

  • To promote the understanding of integrative psychotherapy cooperating with relevant groups and societies.

  • To invite and collect subscriptions and other monies by legal means to fund the activities of the Institute.
